William Manby: Bill brings 28 years of senior executive management experience in the areas of Operations, Manufacturing, and Business Strategy to Monterey Venture Partners. Prior to co-founding Monterey Venture Partners, Bill consulted with Fortune 500 companies such as Phelps Dodge, Quaker Oats and Silicon Graphics as well as early stage start-ups.

Bill has 26 years experience in the Food Industry. Most recently he was a Vice President of Nestle USA and responsible for the operations of a division with $850 million in annual revenues. He was responsible for over $500 million in operating costs, over 3000 people at 6 locations and annual capital expenditure planning and execution of over $25 million. He has held executive positions with Frito Lay, Inc. and Borden. He has worked closely with agricultural organizations on sustainable agriculture techniques. Bill also served as Captain in the United States Air Force, Strategic Air Command.

Bill earned his MBA from the University of Nebraska, and a BBA from Southern Methodist University and has attended Executive Development courses at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is a respected mentor at the Women's Technology Cluster, and an adjunct professor at the Fisher Graduate School of International Business in Monterey, CA. Bill and his spouse live in Pebble Beach, CA.
